Karson & Tierney are a sister-duo with more than 25 years of teaching experience between them. Their classes are welcoming, inclusive, uplifting, and REAL :) Before owning and operating the Happiness & Bliss Virtual Kula, Karson owned a brick-and-mortar yoga studio in San Diego (Happy-U, an acronym for a “Holistic Approach to Positive Psychology & Yoga), at which Tierney was a lead teacher. Together, they have trained over 150 yoga teachers in Southern California, and continue to work 1:1 with students on Trauma Informed Yoga , Yin, and Positive Psychology-based yoga modalities. While their styles may be different, they both offer a caring, light, and playful approach to the practice of yoga, meditation, pranayama, and movement, and believe firmly in the power of community in its ability to heal, and contribute to a happy and healthy life! Tierney lives in SoCal’s wine country with her husband, Shannon, and Karson lives at the beach in San Diego with her husband, Mitch, and two kiddos: Chase (8) and Siena (5).
